Great care is taken in the production process so as not to lose the essence of traditional wine-making techniques. The modern facilities above ground were complemented by traditional underground cellars. The aging room, which holds over 5,000 barrels, is hidden below ground in order to ensure an optimum aging temperature of 15-16ºC. The company began to use French oak barrels to enhance the quality of its wines. This was a milestone in the region and was imitated by many other wineries in the Ribera del Duero D.O. who followed our lead. An elegant yet simple building was constructed to house the winery’s headquarters, whose facade is reminiscent of a classic Bordeaux chateau and is an ideal place to get to know and enjoy wine-growing culture.
