Bodegas Pinna Fidelis appeared in 2001 as a result of an initiative by a group of growers in the Penafiel district. Our concept of a wine cellar is a combination of the traditional way of making wine in the area and a philosophy of innovation in the products, seeking to satisfy the new tastes of consumers of fine wines.
The winemaking philosophy behind all Pinna Fidelis wines is to reflect the characteristics of a production area in which the particular qualities of climate and soil combine to produce powerful, well-structured wines that are at the same time, fine and elegant. The grapes undergo a strict selection process before being left to macerate for 20 to 35 days. Afterward, and once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the free run wines goes into oak casks without any prior processing.
