The Monte Alto estate is one of the most representative wine farms in the province of Valladolid. Extensive agriculture and livestock were the main farm business until the mid-eighties when Manuel Estaban and his family foresaw a successful wine growing country. After many attempts, 20 hectares of Tinto Fino were planted in 1987. Now, Montebaco has 50 hectares.
The roots of the various wine varieties in the vineyard have been grafted and the vines have been hand selected by our technical department. This ensures top quality wine and makes a difference in our Tempranillo grapes.
