Wine Description

Tempranillo red wine made from 30-year old grapes from our own vines as well as selected grapes from some of the best vineyards in the whole Ribera del Duero.

Grapes are hand-picked in 13kg boxes they are cooled down to 4ºC in a refrigerated room and undergo a seven-day cold pre-fermentative maceration at 10ºC.

Plot by plot vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks for a month.

Smooth extraction with regular punch down and pump – over maceration techniques.

Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels of 20% of the wine.

14 months of aging in the finest French oak barrels.

    Tasting Notes

    Youthful dark purple hue. Youthful nose of primary fruit, dark plum, crushed berries, mild spices, and oakiness. Rather full and ample palate, fresh dark fruit, modest oak, rounded with grainy tannin, a fresh acidity underneath and a rather long meaty finish.
