Wine Description

Wine made with Tempranillo grape variety, coming from vines over 80 years old, with yields less than 1.500 kilogramos/hectare. The grapes placed at over 900 m above sea level. The crop is harvested by hand when each individual plot has reached optimun ripeness. The grapes are placed in cement vats

After the process of fermentation, the wine ages 18 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Cherry red colour. Top layer, clean and brilliant. Long in the nose with plenty of red fruit and toasted aromas of wood and liquorice. Fleshy wide and complex in the month. Redcurrant fruit dominates the primary aromas with a mineral hint. Toasted wood with memories of liquorice, chocolate and vanilla. Sweet tannins well blended with the fruit. Round wine, complex and well structured.

Pairing(s): Perfect with a meal or a tapas, grilled meats, casseroles and mature cheeses. Easy to drink it begs a second glass!

Training Method: Winter pruning, the remains of pruning are crushed and they are incorporated into the ground. Green pruning and crop thinning.2 passeswith cultivador to eliminate the weeds. Herbicide treatmente (splace between vine to vine). 3 fungicide treatment for oidium, 2 for mildew and 1 for moths and mites.
