History

Ismael Arroyo began planting vineyards in Sotillo de la Ribera when other people plucked, then people were surprised and said it was crazy what he was doing. The winery has 25 hectares of vineyards, grapes are always tended to by the same winemakers at Sotillo de la Ribera. With their dedication to the work, they tend their vineyards to pick grapes of exceptional quality.

Our Process

The vineyards are planted in well ventilated and sunny slopes, in soils with clay-limestone formation, sandstone and stony. The strains develop its growth naturally, respecting the environment without drip irrigation or chemical fertilizers. Pruning is done by hand with scissors, strains are formed in the traditional system of pruning in glass, carefully pruning the vines. This is the best pruning system for strain helps the plant endure a longer life. These privileged lands of Burgos offer unique quality of grapes.
