Virgin of the Asuncion is a winery with a long history and family tour, begins in 1957 (being one of the pioneers of the Ribera del Duero within 12 existing wineries), we are located in La Horra, which has grown vines and made wine for centuries, as evidenced by the twelfth century underground cellars that today can be visited.

Our Process

Considered of very high quality because of its great and conscientious care of the mature vines, considered one of the best in this DenominaciĆ³n de Origen. This juice is pressed gently and fast, fermented and grown in oak barrels, to later be bottled. This way, a very pure, aromatic and natural wine with a great taste for gourmets is obtained.

Vina Valeria Crianza

Type: Crianza

Cherry red color with purple edge and bright. Great aromatic complexity, ripe fruit, spices (clove, vanilla, coconut), with balsamic notes.

Vina Valeria Reserva

Type: Reserva

Cherry red color with ruby sparkles covered; elegant, complex, ripe fruit, floral notes highlighting the violet, sweet scents of vanilla, cinnamon and sandalwood. We recommend decanting. Silky, smooth, balanced, and a very long finish.

Vina Valeria Roble

Type: Roble

Intense cherry red color with purple flashes, very cover layer. Perfect combination of wild fruit aromas (blackberry and strawberry) with notes of wood, toasted and vanilla.Full body, firm with sweet tannins. Evocative memories.

Zarzuela Seleccion

Type: Roble

Red garnet very covered with purple hues, clean and bright. The first filling in the nose is of wild berries in strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, wrapped beautifully by notes of toasted oak, spices (vanilla, cloves, cinnamon) and hints of cocoa that gives the whole combination a pleasant feeling of complexity. The palate is well structured, voluminous and creamy, balanced acidity and round tannins. In the end comes back memories of wild fruits, spices and chocolate.
