Founded in 1994, Cillar de Silos' origin began with Amalio Aragón with his children. The winery's history dates back to 1970 when his father acquired small plots to neighboring winegrowers, hoping to someday produce a wine of Quintana de Pidio. When he decided to create his own winery, the name Cillar Silos was chosen to honor of the monk who was in charge of the commissariat historically in the Monasterio de Silos.
All the grapes in the winery in the winery are Tempranillo. Our vineyards are planted on hillsides and clothed by forests with excellent drainage, protected from the dangerous winter frosts and winds north through the woods surrounding the strains.

This wine shows the true purity and elegance of Tempranillo. The nose displays refined raspberry and blackberry notes with undertones of vanilla and cedar. The same purity of fruit is evident in the taste, with a silky texture, refreshing acidity and fine tannins leading to an aftertaste of sweet spice and dark coffee.
It presents a cherry color with violet tones. Highlights the elegant aromas of ripe red and black fruits (wild strawberries and plums), mineral and floral (violets) with feelings of youth. The palate is fruity, fleshy, silky and pleasant with gentle tannins . Along with its refreshing acidity, intense and very fine .
