Tinto Figuero’s 15 Months In Barrel is a bright, clean wine, cherry red in color with red reflections bordering on the luminescent, and long, thick legs. Complex aromatic aromas combine ripened fruit and spices, with liquorice notes. Powerful on the palate, the wine is well-balanced and its pleasant tannins bring harmony and balsamic notes to the long, intense finish.

About the Winery

Garcia Figuero

In 2001, the García Figuero Vineyard and Winery became a reality. Wine is made from grapes grown on the 80 hectares that are Estate vineyards, of which a third are old vines of over 60 years. Tinto Figuero is sold in more than 25 countries and their wines are guaranteed by the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero.

It is enhanced by sweet touches of oak, chocolate, spices and coffee notes.The taste is balanced and full-flavored, with sweet, round tannins married to light acidity, giving a fresh, harmonic tone to the palate. Long finish, which is also silky and elegant.

Figuero’s Four Months In Barrel has a dark red color with blue reflections, confirming the wine’s youth; an intense robe for a bright wine. The nose displays intense aromas, including cherries and strawberries, and is reminiscent of black licorice and ripe blackberries, integrated with elegant clean oak notes. There is a strong, balanced mouth feel, showing good structure and a rounded wine, with hints of berries on the palate and a persistent lingering finish.
