Color: Bright and deep yellow color. Nose: intense and complex aromas, combining typical hues of the Verdejo variety as hay, fennel or anise with the more sweet and ripe aromas from tropical fruits (pineapple, passion fruit) result of a careful aging on lees. Palate: Powerful,rounded and well balanced, smooth and velvety. Long persistence and excellent acidity.
A SWEET WINE SURPRISING FOR ITS FRESHNESS AND COMPLEXITY: Pale yellow with greenish reflections. Its aromatic expression is not usual in sweet wines due to its exceptional combination of vegetable notes and tropical fruits, memories of fresh cut grass and a hint of minerality. On the mouth there is a pleasant and very fine velvety sensation. It keeps the features of the grape Sauvignon Blanc, a fresh and clean elegance. It is a high intense wine, well-structured and long, round. There is a perfect combination among acid, alcohol and sugar.
100% Verdejo, fermented and aged on its lees in 300-litre French oak barrels. Each plot is fermented and aged separately. Spontaneous and controlled fermentation with indigenous yeasts. At the end of a 10-12 month ageing period, a selection and blending take place. The wine stays in bottle for a minimum time of six months. The average annual production is 80,000-90,000 bottles, 495 magnums (1.5 litres) and between 70 and 100 double-magnums (3 litres).
Made from a selection of our verdejo vines with an average of 25 years old. Pale yellow colour, clean and bright. On the nose it is delicately fragrant with aromas of fennel (typical of the indigenous variety Verdejo). Soft and persistent on the palate with hints of apple and banana coming through.
Made with 100% Verdejo grapes from old goblet vines (20%) and trellised vineyards aged over 20 years (80%). Cold maceration of 30% of the grape, clarified must, fermentation at 15C in stainless steel vats for 23 days, matured on yeast lees, clarified, stabilized at -4C and filtered. It presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. In nose, it distinguishes fresh aromas of good intensity. Memories of stone fruit, freshly cut grass and anised stands out. In mouth the intensity grows as it moves. It enters discreetly, with good acidity; the center is enveloping and fleshy, at the end the ripe fruit and the distinctive lightly bitter character appear. A refined and full-bodied wine.
The jewel of the cellar. Totally made using Verdejo grapes from pie franco vineyards, with manual picking and with vines aged about 100 years old. Following the manual picking, the must ferments at a low temperature to maintain all of its fruit and mineral intensity. Luminous yellow color with lemon highlights. The nose is fresh and appealing, with aromas of white fruit and the distinctive notes of dry wood, fennel and dried flowers. The mouth feeling comes with a volume that envelops everything. It moves slowly through your mouth, spreading fleshy fruit and fresh grass. It’s lightly bitter finish gives it a great length and a pleasant memory. A wine of limited production. A surprising treat to taste.
Pale straw yellow color, clean and bright. Good intensity aroma, clean and penetrating. In this vintage it stands out foremost the floral notes (violet) in perfect balance with hints of tropical fruit. The palate is fresh and pleasing, fast-paced, yet the aftertaste is uplifted, coming back the flowers leaving a long and pleasant memory. The result is a very expressive, fresh and very fruity wine that has a pleasant and fresh ending.
Attractive dark cherry-red color with blue purple tints. Powerful on the nose with ripe red berry fruit aromas (mulberries and red currants) together with subtle complex aromas coming from the oak (vanilla, spices and roasted coffee beans). Full bodied on the palate with a soft, velvety texture. A long finish with wild red berry fruit and vanilla flavors coming through at the end.
